Inspiration 1

  • The whole meal took longer than necessary. Next time, cook the eggs and bacon in advance and reserve the bacon fat. 
  • Rolling the flank steak was easy, but then I secured it with toothpicks and then tied them and this took forever. Is there a better option?? Stainless steel skewers? Maybe just simple toothpicks like this?
  • Kevin said that he wanted more cheese for more flavor. Should the flank steak be marinated before? Maybe intensify the flavor like in this recipe? Or like this?
  • I used the food processor to mince the olive oil, garlic, and shallots. This was a great shortcut that saved a lot of time!
