Pork with Mushrooms and Marsala Sauce

 

Ingredients

1.5 lb boneless center cut thin pork chops, regular pork chops or pork tenderloin
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Herbs de Provence
12 oz mini Bella mushrooms, cut into thick slices
1/2 package bacon, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
2 medium shallots, diced 
3/4 cup dry Marsala wine, not sweet 
1-1/2 cup chicken broth
1/3 cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon cornstarch, dissolved in 1 tablespoon cold water
1/4 cup fresh Italian parsley, chopped

Garnish
1 tablespoon fresh Italian parsley, chopped

White crusty bread (Baguetter or Mexican bolillos or teleras)
Macaroni and cheese
