Fudgy Brownies


























Ingredients
90 grams (3/4 cup) all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon fine table salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder

115 grams (1/2 cup) unsalted butter, melted
21 grams (1/4 cup) dark cocoa powder
2 large eggs
200 grams (1 cup) granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
90 grams (1/2 cup) mini chocolate chips
powdered sugar, optional

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°. Line an 8x8 baking pan with parchment paper and then spray with nonstick baking spray.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and baking powder. Set aside,
  3. Melt the butter in a small microwave-safe bowl. Add the cocoa powder, whisking until well combined, and set aside.
  4. In a medium or big bowl, beat the eggs until light in color. Add the sugar and vanilla and beat again.
  5. Add the chocolate butter mixture to the egg mixture and beat until incorporated.
  6. Add the dry ingredients to the chocolate mixture and incorporate. Do not overbeat.
  7. Stir in the mini chocolate chips and mix by hand.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean.
  9. Let cool completely before cutting into 9 squares. Dust with powdered sugar, if desired.
